The 952 is an automated machine for grinding the ends of taps from the minimum size of “0” to a maximum size of M10. The Tap End Grinding Machine is automated except for the manual loading of taps onto a walking beam and changeout of gripper collets. Programs are written for each tap for grinding off the required amount of material. The operator will need to select the correct diameter and end of tap to grind on the HMI.
