The 560
Video is a versatile
tool inspection unit with capabilities to measure a wide variety of tool
geometry on 2, 3, or 4 fluted right and left hand tools. Measured
geometries include, chisel angles, web thickness, relief angles, step
lengths, web and chisel centrality, rake angles, secondary cutting edge
angles and notch angles. The 560 Video comes complete with
computer, flat screen, on screen windows compatible software analysis, tool
image email availability, and image folder storage.

The Model 565 Video permits rapid, precise inspection of all tool geometry characteristics in new tool manufacturing as well as tool regrind. The system uses a series of lenses and a digital camera. The image of the tool being analyzed is displayed onto a video monitor. A Windows® compatible software analysis program is displayed on the monitor where the tool analysis is conducted. The new base features more camera travel (19" X axis and 6" Y axis) allowing inspection of larger tools or parts on the video unit. It measures 24" x 24" and can be split apart allowing the section containing the camera to be taken to a machine or granite plate for inspection of tools or parts.

The 560 Mini Video permits rapid, precision inspection of all tool geometry characteristics in the regrind department. A digital camera for angular measurements, "X" axis vernier caliper horizontal linear measurement, and "Y" axis graduated dial for vertical linear measurement. The 560 Mini Video's exclusive standard swiveling vee block allows viewing in a 90° arc. This provides a full 3 dimensional inspection without the expense of optional equipment.
